"There's a conga line of voices in my head!"
After graduating HS in 1973 Bob Lange began operation management of the first R&B radio station in New Mexico 94.1 FM, The House Of Soul at the University of Albuquerque. While still in college he became a commercial broadcaster playing big band at KDEF AM. During his “On-Air” career, he participated in the advent of FM "Classic Rock", before it was classic, at KRST-FM before going to crosstown progressive KMYR. Lange then hosted a radio program based in Washington D.C., at ABC Radio, one of America’s largest and most well known broadcast outlets, on WRQX. Mayhem ensued. No arrests.
Upon return to NM he worked at KFMG Rock 108 and was the morning man at 94 Rock in 1982-83 PT (Pre Trout 1984). He left regular scheduled air-shifts in 1995 at KOB-FM as Production Manager, and resumed producing video for business and government.
Bob Lange's skills have piloted his own teleproduction career for the past 20 years where he has won over 15 Telly and other national awards. His company SpiritedUSA produces video for businesses, operates internet radio stations, and ad based programming.
In 2012 he worked with Canadian Producer Tracy Weslosky (Pro-Edge Media), Emmy winning Director Sid Goldberg, and LA Producer Ellis Martin (Big Sky), to win another Telly for a NM Film on mining "The Mercenary Geologist".
He can be heard on ads for Russ Whitner, NM lottery, and Buffalo Thunder Casino in New Mexico, and webcasts around the world. He likes short walks to the refrigerator for a glass of wine, sunsets on the green side of the Sandias, his dog, and his Harley.
